Sadhana Welfare had organized an umbrella event SPLASH with support from Concern India Foundation (CIF) and AMD India; celebrating an array of themes ranging from Independence Day, Rakshabandhan, and General Sceneries.
A virtual SPLASH drawing competition was organised for differently-abled children of Sadhana in association with CIF and AMD India to encourage and foster artistic expressions amongst the children. The event gave the children of Sadhana an opportunity to come together, open up, participate and have fun.
Joined by Mr.Anil and Mr.Kiran from AMD India and Ms.Poonam and Ms.Chaithali from Concern India Foundation, a Splash event was held onsite at the premises of Sadhana School in Hyderabad on the 20th August 2021. With bustling participation from 50 differently-abled children in a multitude of programs ranging from competitions, dance performances to cultural programs were held with great excitement.
The children were elated when given learning aids as gifts.
The children were also served nutritious breakfast and lunch. The Secretary- P. Madhusudan Reddy had thanked CIF and AMD India for donating dry rations to Sadhana during the event. .
The event wouldn’t have been a great success without the efforts of Mrs.P.Surekha, the director, Dr.Uma, and the Staff of Sadhana who have worked tirelessly, round the clock for organising an event at this scale.
Sadhana Welfare is delighted to have a platform that encourages and provides its children with opportunities to showcase their talents and is appreciative of mammoth efforts taken by various individuals to make the event as merry as SPLASH.
